Happy Christmas Everybody!

A good time was had by all at the Stars the other night. Thanks to everyone who came along, lots of fiddle playing and we sang Fiddlers Green, Blooming Heather, Rose Red (sorry, I started a bit low!) and the Parting Glass.
Happy Christmas to everyone and I hope you have a chance to sing, don't forget that there is a session at the Crown on Thursday the 27th - hope to see you there. Jon

Seven Stars, Bottlesford - Gathering

Thursday December 20^th there’s to be an impromptu gathering at the Seven Stars in Bottlesford for tunes, songs and general merriment. Please do come along if you can and we can try out a few of our songs! Anytime from 8.30pm.

Pewsey Vale Folk Choir starts

Last night saw the first get together of people who wanted to sing, share ideas about singing, and learn new (old) songs. With feet firmly in traditional music we decided our gatherings will be paper-free zones where we’ll learn everything by ear and improvise at will!
This site will serve as a reminder about songs gathered to date and as an archive for lyrics. Everyone has ownership so please feel free to post comments and add information.
